Messiah offers many options for involvement – in addition to the Congregation Council and its committees, the following groups are active either seasonally or year-round:
Formal Bible study is held Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. This group is led by Pastor Susanne and meets in the conference room.
Men’s Bible Study
Men’s Bible Study is held the second and fourth Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in the library.
In Adult Forum, timely topics are examined from a scriptural point of view. The Adult Forum meets from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. in the church library.
Messiah Church Women (MCW)
Messiah has three women’s circles, each of which welcomes new members. Membership at Messiah is not required.

Ruth/Mary Elizabeth Circle – first Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., social hall Open Circle – First Wednesday, 3:00 p.m., church library Sarah Circle – first Thursday, 7:00 p.m., church library
In these groups you will find fellowship, refreshment and Bible study.
Taught by a retired physical therapist. The class emphasizes stretches, mild strength building and balance work. It meets Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. in the social hall.
During the spring, summer and autumn, a dedicated group of people take meticulous care of Messiah’s grounds. They meet regularly on Tuesdays to weed and water the flower beds, add mulch, and tend to the health of the trees on the grounds.
The Piecemakers are women and men who make quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Members work from home as well as meet on the second and fourth Tuesday mornings at 9:00 in the conference room.
